Hydraulic sylinder supplier

Byberg AS designs and manufactures equipment for the oil and gas industry, as well as traditional industry and agriculture. Hydraulic cylinders are our main product, but we also offer machining and repairs. 

We deliver cylinders with a piston diameter of 15 mm and up, with a working pressure up to 800 bar. Most of our products are specially designed for our customers. 
Our speciality is double-acting telescopic cylinders, also available in stainless steel materials for subsea use. 

In our modern machine park we machine parts for many demanding customers. 
We have around 30 highly-qualified employees who work with: 

•     Development and engineering with CAD Inventor. 
•     Production with modern CNC machines. 
•     Welding - manually and using a robot with a manipulator arm.
•     Assembly and testing.
•     Hydraulic cylinder servicing.


At Byberg we like to maintain close and direct contact with our customers. Good interaction between production and engineering provides cost-effective and high-quality solutions for our customers. The company was established in 1987, and operates from modern premises in Klepp in Jaeren.

High Quality

Byberg offers high quality products and services with the intention to get satisfied customers. To help us with this, we have a quality control system in accordance with ISO 9001-2008. Our company is qualified as a supplier in the Achilles JQS, oil industry supplier register in Norway and Denmark. 

Hydraulic cylinders

Hydraulic cylinders are manu­factured for a number of purposes. We manufacture both standard and large, complex speciality cylinders for the oil industry. At Byberg we see the process through, from idea to finished product. 

We offer DNV-approved cylinders if necessary. We also have double-acting tele­scope cylinders in several designs. Assem­bly and testing is carried out in accordance with the necessary procedures, and we log pressure and temperature. We will also enclose all the documentation you require. 

Hydraulic sylinder servicing

Byberg service and repair hydraulic cylinders. 
We have a large stock of parts, which means that we can make repairs quickly. 
We make new parts and hone cylinder pipes when necessary. Testing and documentation is provided as per customer requirements. 

Advanced Welding

Byberg employs certified welders with the experience and knowledge required to ensure that you get the best result. Series can be welded in our robot cell with manipulator arm. Manual welding is delivered with the necessary documentation. 

 

COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN

At Byberg we use AutoDesk Inventor 30 with Vault as our drawing and modeling tool. 
In addition to this we make calculations to maintain the requirements imposed on the different products. We maintain close contact with our customers in order to develop 'a perfect end product'. We can offer design with DNV-approval and FEM analysis where necessary. Our extensive experience with hydraulic cyl­inders puts us in a good position to find the optimal solution for the customer.
